Once upon a time I had a blog. Actually, three blogs. I started blogging in 2003, chronicling my involvement in a local theatre production of Jesus Christ Superstar. This transmogrified into UbikCentral, which then mutated further into Ubikontemplations. This I kept going until 2007 or thereabouts. During that time I survived a community theatre production, a layoff, the divorce from Hades, and the inevitable rebound.
I mention this because when discussing content creation with museum folks, I have a large body of work to refer back to. But since I took everything offline when I closed my blog, there isn’t anything I can show to prospective employers/potential collaborators. I archived everything, however, and have been toying with the idea of resurrecting everything for demonstration purposes.
Today I gave the archive a look-see. Um…wow. That was certainly an…interesting…several years, full of more colorful colloquialisms than I remembered.
Needless to say I will not be re-posting en masse. I have decided, however, to dig up a few choice blasts from the past for your delectation.
